Trouble scanning by folder

I just did a fresh install of SageTV v9. I can't get BMT to get fanart for my imported movies folder. The web interface is working. Scanning the "Recorded TV" view worked just fine, so I think that BMT installed OK.

I browse to the "SageTV Imports by folder" and select my "Movies" folder, and then tell it to update metadata. BMT comes back instantly with "Complete (0:0)". If I uncheck the box that says "Skip files that have already been updated" (or something like that) and then scan I get "Complete (0:4)"

There are about 100 videos on that folder, but i can't seem to get it to scan.

Oddly enough, the metadata for all of the videos did show up eventually, so maybe the scan worked at one point and I didn't see it. If I look in the fanart folder, there is only art for 4 movies in there. The same 4 movies do display fanart in SageTV.

I also tried scanning the "Imported Movies" view and I get the same thing.

The bmtweb log is empty. The phoenix log has the following at the end:

2017-01-07 09:49:07,700 [Thread-58] WARN sagex.phoenix.metadata.search.TVScraperManager - No TV Scraper could handle file: DecoratedItem: [SageMediaFile [sageId=11169545, sageObject=sage.vfs.BrowserMediaFileNode@f07e7b]]

In BMT, Configuration, search for provider and set the movie provider to tmdb

See if that works.

Also try doing a manual update in BMT on a single item, see if that works.

And when you do a large collection the scan will finish long before the fanart finishes downloading.

Rmoving IMBD from the search providers got rid of the NULL pointer error in the log, but I am getting "Complete(4:0)"

Updating a single movie give me metadata, but no art. The following does appear in the phoenix.log when I update a single file:

From the UI interface, if I choose "Manage Metadata -> Search for Fan art" then it works fine and downloads metadate and art.

If I add a new file and rescan the library from the sageTV UI, then metadate and fanart are automatically added.

If I rename an existing file and then scan media from the SageTV UI, the fan art downloads.

It seems like everything is working OK except for the BMT scan.

As a work-around, I renamed my folder, let SageTV re-scan all of the files, then named the folder back to the original name of "Movies". All of the metadata and fan-art was downloaded with this method.
