V9 Plugins - Failed Resource download?

I'm testing out a new V9 install on win10. When i try to install a plugin, i get a Resource Download fail error. I can download the zip manually but not through the UI menu. Any idea what's happening? Is there another way to install plugins manually?

what version of java are you running.

likely just keep trying. sourceforge has not been very reliable lately.

I remember having a similar error. The plug repos changed at some point but my sage.properties didn't reflect the changes. Check you sage.properties to ensure the following:

sagetv_repos/v7/local=SageTVPlugins.xml
sagetv_repos/v7/md5=http\://download.sagetv.com/SageTVPlugins.md5.txt
sagetv_repos/v7/url=http\://download.sagetv.com/SageTVPlugins.xml

Bump - I'm trying to get a new Client setup on a Win10 machine and hitting the same issue -- ever figure out the resolution. My sage.properties file is pointing to the right repo best i can tell (and I can update plugins from my HD300) -- but I can't install any plug-ins from the new machine. I've tried installing a couple different versions of Java -- didn't seem to make a difference.

Any suggestions?

also - mine is pointing to bintray.com ..

Edit: I'm running SageTV Client version 9.1.9.0

posting log file in next post. Also - no windows firewall turned on or anything like that. Pretty vanilla win10 setup past that..

Problem resolved by completely reinstalling all versions of java - and then re-installing the latest version.

Thank you for posting this. I shut down sage and made sure no sage was running. I used the Java updater and let it uninstall previous version. I then restarted sage and now the plugin repository download works!
