Hauppauge HD PVR 1212 Driver

What is the current best Windows driver version to use with the Hauppauge HD PVR? I am building a new windows 10 64-Bit server to run Sage v9, and would like to know you think? I am running v1.5.7.0 now with windows 7 64 bit and it runs ok.

That's the only version I've ever run. But I've got to believe newer drivers might work better. But "if it isn't broke don't fix it" is the motto I've used for this.

My HDPVRs are currently working as a v9 SageTV network encoder VM on unRAID. I did this because I get fewer corrupt recordings then using Linux drivers and the SageTV docker on unRAID. I still use the SageTV docker as the main server where I have HVR-2250s attached for OTA and QAM channels. I just use the HDPVRs on the network encoder VM for premium channels.

Running Sage 7 with a pair of HD PVR 1212s on Win7-x64, my experience has been that v1.5.7.0 has been much more stable than v1.7.1.30059.

Even so, v1.5.7.0 used to choke every few weeks. After much experimentation, I discovered that a nightly restart of the Sage service has made HDPVR failures a thing of the past.

Side benefit: I'm running 3 HD-200 extenders, and since adding the nightly restart, Sage no longer runs out of Java heap space.
