forceware 60 drivers messing with sage tv?

I just installed the new forceware 61.76 drivers for my geforce 4 card. Now sage tv gives me nothing but a black screen. Anyone else confirm this happening to them also?

No. I just upgraded mine and it is fine. I have a GeForce FX5700. You may want to uninstall your forceware drivers completely. (Go back to VGA driver) and then install the latest drivers.

That was what I did initially.

I'm going to go back to the drivers I had previously. Every version since 45.?? has given me problems.

Resolved?

I was running 45.23 drivers (every version after has given me serious problems).

I uninstalled them. Rebooted.

I installed the new 61.76 drivers. Rebooted.

Sage TV would only give me a black screen.

I reinstalled 45.23 over the top of the new drives without removing the new drivers. Rebooted. Sage TV now works.

So, on a lark, I reinstalled the new drivers over the old drivers without removing the old ones. Rebooted. Sage TV still works.

So, not sure why doing the "proper" process for a driver upgrade would break Sage TV. At least in my case it's working again.

I had previously experienced problems with updating my ForceWare as well. I always had to go back to my 45.xxs too. (btw, I'm using overlay). So I've finally given up and quit trying to update them.
