Differences between Linux server & windows server
Can I setup linux to remain running in the background as a service like in windows?
Currently I noticed that I cant close placeshifter in linux without stopping recording. Is it possible to duplicate that functionality in linux? I am fairly new to linux ( I know enough to be dangerous) |

Are you using unRAID Linux? I believe that with unRAID that as long as you have the docker started then SageTV will be running. However there can be things that stop the docker, like a backup. But other than that it should always be running.
