Error Writing To Registry - 64 Bit Client

I'm trying to install the 64 bit client on a Win 10 Pro workstation. It currently has the 32 bit version of 9.1.8 which runs fine.

I've run it as myself (my account is an administrator), and I've even tried the "Run as administrator" option, and get the same registry error. Can't get past this point. Haven't tried a 9.2.1 32 bit install...

Any thoughts? See error attached.

Tnx
-Steve

At some point during beta, several users ran into this. You can choose ignore and all will be fine. Those keys used to be something you had to hand create if desired and the installer was trying to help. I’m not sure if it was deemed fixed or not but it seems not.

Correct...not fixed as not reproducible yet... safe to ignore...i will make a note in the first post. My guess is the key previously was manually created so the installer is having issues... i may just make the installer ignore it if already in place.

Ok thanks. Did the ignore and it finished. Have never run the 64 bit installer here on this PC, even in Beta, so wouldn't think the keys are there already.

Of interest, running this 64 bit client (with phoenix fanart and CMT) against my 9.2.1 64 bit server, I see the same random posters missing in my movies lists - like in my other post - just not with the spinning circle delays

This is similar to what I saw with the server and extenders when they were running the 9.2.1 64 bit server.

Oddly enough, the problem isn't there with the 9.1.8 client running against the 9.2.1 64 bit server.

For S & G's, maybe I'll try the 32 bit 9.2.1 server and 32 bit 9.2.1 client to see if these issues are strictly 64 bit...

Tnx!

Should be easy to reproduce as it happens on all my PCs where I installed the new 64-bit SageTV Client 9.2.1. Came from 9.1.10.

Fresh install of 9.2.6 x64 client and still see this error. (Using a fresh install of 9.2.6 x64 server as well)

Thanks for acknowledgement that the reg entries are not needed, but from a usability perspective it would be nice to not get an error to then have to search the web for an answer / solution.
