FireTV and Miniclient - I think I know what is happening
I think I figured out what is happening, but I am not sure how to fix it.
I was installing Amazon Prime on one of the Shield TV devices. When I had to enter my login credentials, it brought up the keyboard used by the Fire TV devices not the normal Shield keyboard. I was having the same problem, moving from the userid field to the password field. Since the Shield TV can be controlled with an app on your phone, I used the keyboard in the app to enter the login information. If you can disable the default FireTV keyboard and make it use the standard Android keyboard, I think you might be able to enter the login information into the mini-client. Unfortunately I have no idea on how to do this. Suggestions?
