Question Do I need a sound card?

I am setting up a SageTV server that will not be attached to a television and will be used primarily for streaming content. The TV cards I am using are Hauppauge PVR-250s (Rosyln).

So, the question is, in this setup do I need to have a sound card or will the TV cards handle all the audio processing?

Thanks,
Mike

you only need an audio/sound card for playback locally

Edit, I read it wrong. You don't need an audio card.

... but only for playback. The TV tuner handles the audio during the encoding process.
