'blocking for multiple uses of user credentials' might have caused my issue. Thanks for the clue! I only have one instance of SageTV and it is the only thing that grabs guide data from Schedules Direct. However, I now have three Internet connections in a load-balance and failover configuration. Connections from my SageTV server could randomly appear to be coming from three different IP addresses.

Regardless of the error I was seeing in the SageTV log, my guide data was still filling out and updating. The OTA broadcast channels that got shuffled around over the weekend are now mostly fixed. I think there is now just one channel with the wrong guide data and a couple of channels that still have the wrong channel logo.

I have reconfigured my router to route all traffic from my SageTV server through only one of the load-balance Internet connections and the failover Internet connection. After doing that and restarting SageTV, I haven't seen any EPG errors.

My schedule doesn't update, but my EPG does. I have it set on a 7 day schedule. It will just count down to zero in 7 days. Zero programs to record. If I check the future airings of a show, they are OK. Odd problem. I've been getting around this with a scheduled task that reboots the server every Monday morning.

I'm not using EPG123. Should I be? SageTV 9, 64 bit.

I don't think so. He's using EPG123 so that his Windows Media Center can get updates from Schedules Direct.

When you said, above, that your schedule does not update, but your EPG does, I hear you say that it's the recording schedule of your favorites that is the problem, not the updating the program guide.

EPG123 works to update the program guide, NOT the recording schedule. You only need to use EPG123 to populate the program guide on Windows Media Center. If your program guide data is OK in Sage, then do not bother with EPG123.

It would be a lot of work to get EPG123 to plug into Sage, including using and configuring XMLTV to work with Sage. Since the EPG update is working, you do not need to change it there.

If the recording schedule is the problem, then it is not an EPG or Schedules Direct problem. I would think it's a problem for a different sub-forum, probably the "Sage TV Software" sub-forum.

Or am I missing something?

EPG123 uses Schedules Direct, so just enter the same account information in SageTV. Remember not to schedule the updates and the same time since SD now limits users to one connection and I am not sure if SageTV has been updated to request a new token on failure.

It seems like I've posted it all over the forums. It took me a while to realize that my guide data was good. I've been having this issue for several months.
