Gemstone fails Install ..
Gemstone failing to Install bintray problem.

Yes, this is a serious issue. And not being a coder, I’m helpless. I’m sure one, or some of us could pool our resources and find a new download site if we could just get our hands on the installers? It’s times like this I wish Narflex, Opus, etc. we’re still around...

The installers for SageTV itself are moved to GitHub, which can host binary content. There is some plug-in stuff there already. The issue is getting ahold of any installer binaries for plug-ins that aren’t actively supported.

If someone has a location to migrate gemstone plugin files to I have the files available and I could upload them just let me know where. Gemstone has numerous dependencies including Phoenix core so those would need to be relocated as well...i may have those but would need to check.

Funny you mention Opus - he just posted in the last week for the first time in about 16 months.

Maybe create a v1.0 release here (https://github.com/OpenSageTV/sagetv-plugin-repo) and just pile the binaries all in there? They can be linked directly individually for downloading.

I've been uploading all I can find and updating the repository. The Gemstone ones are the big one missing. I'd prefer it to be on (https://github.com/OpenSageTV/sagetv-plugin-repo), but don't have access.
BMT and Phoenix should be OK now.

It sure wouldn’t hurt to have them in more than one place, especially for any where the authors have moved on and there are no more updates. I can always copy them into the OpenSageTV repo from yours if we want to.

The Gemstone plugins are now all back available. Still quite a few others to recover.
