Any Success Stories Of Colossus & Unraid Dockers?

Just curious if anyone has figured out a way to get a Colossus card working with their SageTV Unraid Docker?

I have now acquired two original Colossus cards, however there don't appear to be Linux drivers and therefore any support for adding them to my docker directly.

I can run a Windows VM and pass-through the cards, but since I do my channel changing via FireWire it will need to be 32bit and therefore limited to 4GB of RAM. I would also need to run 2 HDPVR's on the same VM since I only have 1 FireWire card (and that would be passed through to the VM as well). This feels like a clunky way of doing it, but might be my best solution.

You have been a pioneer with unRAID's change in support for DVB and SageTV so I presume you spoke to ich777 on this? What did he say? Is it as simple as getting him to add the Linux drivers for the Colossus, assuming that they exist?

Did the Colossus work under the old DVB plugin?

I just acquirered these cards, so it's my first go at setting them up.

According to the Hauppage website there aren't any Linux drivers that they have released.

I was hoping that someone knew of some way to get them working on Linux, otherwise I'm going the network encoder route.

I was able to setup a VM on Unraid and pass the cards through, but it's having some memory addressing issue and only giving access to 2GB of RAM even though I've assigned 4GB, so I might have to setup a separate physical server.
