What on earth has happened?
Seemingly randomly sage has removed the data for various recorded TV programs and grouped them all under one folder, the files range from Star Trek to Malcom in the Middle to The Simpsons.
How has this happened? ![]() |

What STV are you using & how do you have your SageTV Recordings configured -- go to the screen & use the Options command: Ctrl+o or right click the mouse, for example.

Default STV, sorted by Intelligent, grouped by title, display filter all.

Strange... what folder name did it give them? Have you tried exiting & restarting SageTV?

Well, various, it's meant to group them by show name, only way I can identify them now is by looking at the filename of the recording.

No, theres nothing to sort, the data from those recordings is just plain missing.

Sounds like the same thing, then. Like I said, I think I reported that as a bug, but I have no idea what causes it. You could contact support to report it & see what they say.

Happened to me last night too for one recording -- I think what caused it was that the EPG was updated during a recording, and the currently recording item was changed (different episode and EPG ID)

Strange, it's returned to normal now

EPG updated and it's lost data once again.
I'm currently looking at it from the client. I've just gone to the machine running sage in the other room and it's fine, then came and checked it on the client and it's back to normal. |
