DirecTV channel 323 - why are they messing with it?

Seems that the channel name keeps getting changed for DirecTV 323. For longest time, the name was DTV323. Last Friday it changed to FETV, now it has changed to DTV3231.

Of course that means Favorites and future Manual recordings get all messed up and have to be redone.

Is there any work-arounds instead of having to "add" the new channel (I don't auto add new channels on lineups), redo Favorites and any Manual recordings?

I did put in a ticket with Schedules Direct

WOW. Looks like channel 323 is now all paid programming. Did DirecTV totally remove FETV (Family Entertainment TV)?
