Exclamation Catalyst 4.9 Beta - Warning

Just thought I'd post a warning for the rest of you.

In the continuing search for a way to improve my VMR9 performance, I thought I'd give the Beta Catalyst 4.9 (aka the DOOM 3 version) a try. Let me just say I'm really glad I Imaged my drive before I installed them

First thing I noticed was that some of the options in Detailed setup (Recording quality) were blank. Then I went to Sage Recordings and there was nothing there (malore's STV reported "no recordings"). Needless to say I was worried.

Well there's a happy ending, since I'd imaged it, in 2min I was back to my Cat 4.7 setup and all is well.

So a lesson for all you fellow upgrade/test freaks out there, get a good imaging program (Acronis True Image here) and use it, often.

There were no files for me to even play

It may not have been 4.9, I tried DX9.0c, (after restoring to Cat 4.7 setup) and it did the same thing. I didn't feel like screwing with it so I gave up. I might try again later though.
