Currupt MPEG Recordings
I have noticed a bit of a problem with my SageTV recordings. On occasion I compress some of the .mpg to xvid for storage (my daugher cant get enough Dora...). The mpg file is watchable, however on the majorty of my compressed mpeg4's I have audio sync issues that I believe are due to errors in the origional recording. I dont think it has anything to do with the compression software as it works well with other mpg files. When I scan the files int VirtualDubMod I notice that there are multiple errors "Anachronistic or discontinuous timestamp found... This may indicate an improper join." I am using the "Best" recording setting. Looking aroung on doom9's forum they suggest using different capture software which really is not an option for me as I like sage and already bought it.... I was hoping that someone may be able to suggest why I am having the problem and what I can do to fix it... Thanks

Try Dr. Divx
I use Dr. Divx, for almost the same reason. I recompress Thats so Raven for my little girl.
It seems to work perfectly for me. |
