Any poll is misinformative if not interpretted within the context of the manner in which it is conducted. I'm sure Jeff knows what he's doing.

Thanks, mightyt. I've all ready downloaded pretty much all the STV's and have been using them today without any problem. I feel kind of stupid for avoiding them all this time because I've been using SageClient on my main pc to connect to my server for a long time, so it's really easy to just try things out with Client.
My cat's name is Isotope. I got him at the shelter. He came from some government lab or something. They had been doing nuclear research on him I was told. When I got him he was completely hairless, but he's doing fine now. He has really, really white teeth. He's a very clean cat. Bacteria avoid him like the plague. |

I am using nielms,
the reason is simple. the ability to modify the menus to increase waf I have used malore and mlddude1,2 love them both and the reasons i love them both have been included into nielms and the things i dont like well most of them i can get rid of in menus etc. what would i like to see (no idea if this is possible because i am one of he many who dont have an stv creation tools) -an stv that provides the menuing system similar or using neilms one -everthing else as external modules that the menu system can call -now everyone can produce modules(screens) that people can incorporate into their menu system. if you like the 2 pane recording call that 3 pane its up to you this way the end user is in control of what they like, also people like neilm dont have to change there stv everytime malore or mlddude change the base stv's, people jsut release a new module and the menusystem calls the newly replace module what do you think? I'm using the original stv again. I tried one of the alternatives, but it didn't maintain the consistency of the Sage UI (there were some harsh font colours, etc). Yes - I'm a sucker for style over substance once in a while. It would be great if Frey could let their UI-designer at some of these alternate stv's.
Part of the problem I found messing around with stv's was it changed the set-up section and made it impossible to switch back to my original stv. |

I'm using the orginal stv for now - I'd love to see an implementation of teehan+lax UI with perhaps a Weather and RSS News module.. I'd be onto it in a heartbeat
