Jukebox limit

Does anyone know if there is a limit to the total # of music files which can be displayed through the jukebox? I have about 2700+ MP3s in 100+ subdirectories (and sub-subdirectories) under the main directory to which my Sage box is pointing, but it only displays a partial list (I'm not sure exactly how many it's displaying since I haven't bothered to count, but it's definitely missing 100's).

Thanks.

I don't know if there is a limit, but I've 2,685 mp3 files, in 115 directories, each with 1 or more subdirectories for each album by the group... and all 2,685 files show up in SageTV. In the Music Jukebox, go to Music by Song Title & scroll up 1 screen to see the total count SageTV sees.

Opus4 -

Could his problem somehow be related to how the MP3's were ripped? I know there's other discussion about CBR verses VBR, but could there be other things also that might not work out right for MP3's in SageTV and/or if it will display them?

Oops... that was the comment that I forgot to add... otherwise my above post is just "it works for me." I intended to say, but forgot:

I'm not sure if there could be something about an mp3 file that would cause SageTV to skip it. Maybe someone else knows for sure, but if you can find a song that is not listed in SageTV, check to see how it compares to those that are recognized. Were they all ripped the same way?

I had a problem playing and importing some MP3s prior to the final 2.0 release and had to send one of myt MP3s that did not show up to support so they could figure out why it was not added to the list and they fixed it. So I think it does depend on how they were ripped.

I see this as well. I'll have certain songs from certain albums that just wont show up (ie the album should have 12 songs but only 11 show up on the list) and that song will never show up. It is on the HD.

The songs from the CD were ripped at the same time in the same program with the same settings (like anyone ripping an entire CD would do hehe) so it's not like 1 song on the album was ripped using different settings in my case. I assume it's something to do with the VBR problem.

Also should be noted that Sage doesn't understand ID3 tags that are higher than version 1.1. Luckily, iTunes has a batch convert option.
