Any way to copy files within Sage?

Ok, so that's not my whole question, but it is the first part of it. I'll start from the begining.

I like to recompress my movies to DIVX. I can do that now with a hack that involved mlbdude's stv. But I need something a little more complicated. I want to be able to easily recompress a file one of 3 ways, either a straight up movie, a TV show, or either of the two to a very low bitrate movie I can copy to my Treo600.

The reason I need separate recompress setups for TV and movies is because I use Meedio to play those files, and I have to put them in separate directories so that I can keep them separate in Meedio. The reason I need it for the treo, is because it can't play the 1.5mbps files I make for my system and needs 160x120 files. I obviously don't want to bring my whole system down to the lowest common denominator.

So, is there any way to create the following:

1. Add an option to the details screen (like compress is) that would copy the file to a certain directory? This could either be (in my case) 3 options, or one option that pop'd up to give me the 3 options?

2. Add an option to run an external program? As I'm writing this, I remember reading that this is possible...I'll probably edit this in a few minutes if I find it. But in case I don't...any easy way?

Thanks so much.

Yes, this is very possbile. But it would require a custom stv.

Do you still need the ability to do this or did you already solve this issue?

I'm working on it. I'm trying to come up with a way to stream line my compressing and I think it's possible now.

I'm totally slammed at work, so I haven't had much time to spend on my hobby.

Ideally, I would have two sets of the ffmpeg pickup, and I think that with the new additions, that is possible.

Why, do you have a good way to do it?
