Installed fine, ran the channel setup, all good.
go to Live TV, hit "Watch now" on any channel and the program sits on the TV screen but with a blank black screen instead of showing the TV feed, then it quits. Doesn't give an error message, no crashing popups--nothing. Just quits. I enabled the console via the registry but when the app quits, the console disappears with it. I do see a whole bunch of stuff get dumped to that window when it does quit though. Any suggestions? Using a PVR250. windows 2000. 512 ram. GF FX 9200. thanks! |

have you installed any DVD programs to use for decoding the video being recorded?

Power DVD is installed. All of its codecs show up in Sage too.

I managed to take a screenshot of the dos console before the window closed and found that it wrtoe an error log. I've pasted the log file below:

means you have not bought powerDVD and are trying to use a trial
you need to use a registered decoder |

No, I own PowerDVD. It's not a trial. I purchased it 4 or 5 months ago, so that's definitely not it.
For now I've just stopped using their decoders so I can at least watch some TV. But without being able to watch DVDs through sage, its usefulness is going to suffer. I will try and do some more testing to see what else could be the problem. In the meantime if you have other ideas, i'd love to hear them. This is buggin me. ![]() thanks for the help. |

Are you sure that you have de-installed the old trial version?
Ater all the module causing the error *is* the trial version of the Cyberlink Audio Decoder: claud_Trial.ax Try De-installing powerDVD, de-install any trial versions, check that the C:\Program Files\CyberLink\ folder is empty, then re-install the licenced version... You could also try using the Radlight Filter Manager to remove the reference to the Trial cyberlink filters from your system... |

I don't remember if they have a seperate download for the full version or if they have you install the trial, then input the reg key. I'll just uninstall it again, then re-install it tonight when I get back from work. Quote:
Thanks a lot the links and help! I'll post back tonight. |

Awesome. That Radlight Filter Manager did the trick. There were 2 Cyberlink Audio Renderers showing up. One for the trial and the regular one.
I unregistered the trial, and now everything works. Thanks so much kny3twalker and nielm for the help! |
