Problems with Inputting Numbers in Default or Malore STVs
All,
I upgraded from 2.0 to 2.1 & noticed that I can't input numbers at all when using either the default STV or Malore's updated 2.1 STV. Either via the guide, or via direct channel input, putting in "1" or "2" (etc.) just moves the cursor up and down. The latest MLBDude STV is the only one that has worked for me to be able to use the guide normally by typing in channel numbers. I've tested this both on my main HTPC running Sage Client/Server (not as a service) as well as on my laptop running Client. Same errors on both. Anyone else seeing this? I'd love to know if there's any workaround of known bugs. Thanks! Jon |

Can you give an example of what you mean by entering numbers? On mine, using the OriginalV2.stv if I enter numbers from the remote and hit OK in the Guide it moves to that channel. When in LiveTV it changes to that channel. Works from the keyboard also (if the SageTV window/screen has focus).
Are you running it as a service? Maybe it's another flaw with that service feature. |

You got it, either inputting numbers to navigate the guide or to tune the channel. I'm inputting these either via the keyboard or via my remote using Girder.
I've done everything short of a total clean install-I'm still using my updated sage.properties and wiz.bin from 2.0. I am not running Sage as a service. Thanks! Last edited by krustyjonez; 10-19-2004 at 02:39 PM. |
