Xbox Media Center Extender

I would like to see Sage come up with something like this. Another company has themselves but it also only links to MCE. But other companies can do the same and honestly, it is tempting me to switch to MCE.

A relatively inexpensive client (in this case $150) is a killer feature. BTV has unofficial, but fairly extensive, support via the Hauppauge MVP. MCE has both the XBox and standalone media extenders. I agree witht he first poster. I'd love to see Sage have something like this.

Well Media MVP is nice but then again, I already run HDTV with my Xbox through component jacks so if I can also run my DVR through my Xbox I am freeing up a set of jacks on my TV. If I went with this I could change my GameCube from just A/V jacks to S-video.

I have to assume the only way for it to happen with Sage (at least right now) is for someone to create the client on their own outside from Frey. Honestly, I think it a lot of users would go this route because unlike boxes like the MVP you have more space to work with to create what you want. You can get a kit from the MSDN if anyone wants to jump on this. I know I would pay maybe up to like $150 for something like this. It is very practical for users who already have an Xbox.

Forgot to add. I do expect Sage to have full support for MVP or something like that, but the Xbox Extender is beyond that and if I could have Sage use that would be in heaven with my media center.
