EDIT #1: I do *NOT* get this when using the OrignalV2.STV, or with Cayars15.

EDIT #2: To narrow this down further, it ONLY happens on the default TV recordings screen. It does NOT happen on the Categorized Recordings view, nor on the Malore recordings view.

EDIT #3: It may, or may not, have something to do with mousing over recording entries that are folders instead of individual recordings... Hard to duplicate though, as it doesn't seem to happen EVERY time... Very frequently though when going to/from certain folder listings.

Hopefully that helps track it down.

I've not been able to replicate this, however looking for it I found and fix 2 bugs in the this TV Recordings view. Perhaps it was related, please try again.

By the way what version of SageTV are using?

Ok, one more thing. I have a button on my remote mapped to the Sage command "1045 - SageTV Recordings".

No matter what I have the recordings view preference set to, pressing my remote button ALWAYS goes to the 'default recordings' view.

Is there any way to either:
1. Change the behavior so that the SageTV Recordings command would go to the screen you specified a preference for in the interface setup

or

2. Make a new SageTV command that I can link to the remote control button that would take me directly to the 'categorized recordings' or 'malore' recordings screen

Hmm... Well one of the sorting options should be Title A-Z (and Z-A).

Can you get to that option from the options -> sort by menu in the Malore recordings? I can't.

My menu starts with INTELLIGENT at the top of the list and ends with ORIG AIR DATE (REVERSED).

And the list does not scroll up and down... So where are the sort by TITLE options?

If you go to Malore recordings, then options, there is a ROWS setting. It doesn't seem to do anything.

For instance it says "10" on mine, but there are only 6 rows. I think you over ride this setting somewhere in your settings?

There is still a problem with files when they reach the end of their recording.

On my system when I reach the end of a recording the screen just goes black. It does not go to a menu, nothing. Just sits there.

Have to hit a remote key to navigate out (like HOME or STOP).

If I go to the Malore Recordings screen, then go to the options of a recording and delete it, I am returned to the DEFUALT recordings list.

I should be returned to the Malore recordings view.

And another...

If you go into the "OSD UNDERSCAN OPTIONS" in your interface setup -> OSD Options, there is no way to get OUT of the popup dialog.

Left doesn't get out, there is no CLOSE, etc. Had to power down client and reload to get out of it!

Thanks for this one, I missed it. Fixed in the upcoming version. For now, you don't have to reboot the client: hit ESC on the keyboard or Options on your remote, and the option menu disappears

Really like this STV. Great job! I have a few simple questions...

1) I realize for News setup it points to setting it up in Options, but I don't see any UI for it in the Plug-ins & UI section or elsewhere. Do I need to set this up in an XML file or somewhere else? Thanks.

2) Guide: When I am watching LiveTV and choose "Guide" from my Hauppauge remote it just shows the channel info at the bottom. This is helpful...but I would like to also go directly to the full TV Guide screen via remote. Currently this takes me about 4 commands to get to it. Any ideas since your STV is the one that determines what it does when the "Guide" command. Thanks.

In your latest version I noticed today that "My Video Library" is pulling it's property value or video directory from the SageClient.properties file "seeker/archive_directory=". I am not using the client and therefore the updates via the Setup in this STV are updating Sage.properties. So I updated this property manually in the SageClient.properties file and now all is well.

Additionally the "My Archived Shows" does not navigate to anything. I am wondering if that is related or at least related to a property value issue. Thanks for the effort on this.

For #2, this is fixed in the upcoming version. You now call mini guide with the Custom2 button and the default TV Guide with the Guide button.

For #1, if you follow the instructions, there is nothing to do to setup the News feature. The only option available is in Setup/Plug-in/Dashboard and there you can enable/disable the access to the News feature

About your #1, I can't replicate your problem.

About your #2, Archived TV Shows from Media Library and My TV/TV Recordings works well for me. The link/item doesn't call any property value to access the menu.
