usb uirt using as reciever and blaster?

Now that my last problem got fixed I have a new one I am using a usbuirt to change channels on my dish reciever and I also wanted to use it with my remote to control sage but when I choose it in setup and choose usb port it slows sage down to a crawl mouse has to sit on something forever before it highlights and remote won't work anybody know how to fix it. Thanks.

Sounds strange. I use it the same way without any problems.

If you have the Hauppauge remote receiver, have you removed it?
May be re-install Sage TV without support for Hauppauge IR Support.....

Figured it out had to shut down service then change to usb then restart service works great now I can use the new 150 remote (morebuttons) Thanks.
