Playlist doesn't play
(SageTV version 2.1)
I created a playlist of MP3 files, but when I click on the playlist button (after selecting the playlist) nothing plays. I have gone to mouse click class; so, I am certain I clicked on the button. Also, I have a separate problem where if I select an MP3 by title, I am able to play the song. However, if I select by Album, and then attempt to play, I get the following error: "There was an error playing the selection of: ERROR(-4): Cannot view program because it is over and was not recorded." It seems from the above message, SageTV believes it is trying to play a video and not an MP3. I may need some bones and chicken blood to fix this problem. Marty |

I reinstalled SageTV, and these problems went away. Arrrgg.
It seems like that reinstalling is a rare event based on the posts I've seen. Do people generally agree with that statement? Marty Last edited by Redrum; 11-11-2004 at 06:11 PM. |

Same error message with video library
I also get this error. It is fairly consistent whenever I watch an avi in the library , then stop it to watch something else, then when I return to try and watch the avi again I get this error.
There was an error playing the selection of: ERROR(-4): Cannot view program because it is over and was not recorded. If I restart sage, the file plays without any problems. This error occurs in version 2.1.20 and 2.2.7 Any ideas? |
