Video Card needed for VMR9?

How powerful a video card do I need for VMR9? Is an FX5200 good enough? My current GeForce4 MX 440 plays VMR9 very choppy.

I wouldn't recommend anything less than a Geforce 5700 Ultra or Radeon 9600 XT. The best card is probably the Geforce 6600.

I'm currently using VMR9 using an FX5200 overclocked by about 25%. It seems to be working fine using the newest NVDVD codecs. I used to have problems with VMR when using the Elecard/Dscaler combo. This is on a P4 3 GHz with 1 gig of RAM.

9700Pro with AXP-M 2500 can do 1280x720 (720p) with NVDVD/FFDShow (Denoise, motioncomp, resize) without tearing.

My 8500LE wasn't up to it
