PVR-150MCE in a non-MCE system

I was looking around for a third tuner and ran across the Hauppauge PVR-150MCE card. The listing for the card states that it comes with "MCE 2005 Driver Only".

Does anyone know if I can use this card in a non-MCE system by simply downloading the PVR-150 drivers from the Huappauge site? Thanks!

Karen

yeah it should be the same as using a PVR 250 MCE

you can get the newest drivers from shspvr.com/forum

you might want to read and see how sucessful people are mixing the pvr 150s with pvr 250s/350s

kny3twalker,

Thanks for the info. I shoudln't have any mixing problems because I wasn't planning on mixing the PVR-150MCE card with another card. I was thinking of putting it into another system of mine as a network encoder.
