Move SageTV to another computer
I'd like to make another machine a SageTV server and move all my recorded shows with with recording schedules and metadata to the new computer. Can I just copy the Frey Technologies Folder and the Video directory to the new drive or is there some fancy way the data has to be exported/imported?

But, please also check the caveats that I added to the original version of that FAQ here. I believe that the most important thing to do is to set the property seeker/clear_partials_and_unwanted_when_ir_off=false to prevent file deletions. (Oh, and to set make_all_mediafiles_local=true for a new PC w/a new network name.)
The problem with files getting deleted when they are moved should be fixed in the next beta release, but you still need to watch out until then. - Andy
