Wake from Hibernation?

Wake from Hibernation??? Or do they mean wake from S3?

Should be able to do either Standby or Hibernate (depends what you set Windows power managment to use). Although you'd probably have better luck with Hibernate since a lot of devices (especially USB) don't re-initialize properly after Standby/Sleep.

All SageTV is doing with that is just setting a wake up time in the BIOS (the same as you could if you wanted it to turn on at a certain time by itself).

Personally, I just leave mine run 24/7 and only have the power management shut down the monitor (since CRT monitors are the major power hog). I don't believe all that constant on/off cycling is good for the circuits. Plus, the large surge of power needed to bring the system back up probably uses up just as much (maybe even more) power as was saved in the short time it was shut down.
