What recording is comskip processing?
Is there a way to know what file comskip is actually processing? Specifically meaning I'll launch Client on my main workstation which I've config'd to process comskips and comskip'll just start. I know when it launches by monitoring Task Manager processes. Could be a number of different shows that need processing. Do the same on Debi's PC. Anyway to determine who's actually working on what? (Not to be confused with main HTPC Client which I don't have doing comskip processing.) Oh, if it makes a difference I'm running comskip via Cayars v16.

Actually I just figured out an easy way to atleast know the last one started which means it's one of the ones being currently processed! Just browse the vid folder and sort by date. If two files currently being comskip processed they'll be the latest comskip filesets created. Can't tell which is being processed from which Client but it's a something. Using that information maybe some genius type Studio STV programmer can figure out how to capture and display info' automatically in STV?

Well, I know internally what file is being processed since the STV is doing the call to fire up ComSkip. I could probably write it to a property setting or text file or something so the information would be available.

Don't sweat it. There've been times I've wanted to "kill" current comskip process running to fully utilize workstation for say a DVD Shrink & RIP. I'd later go through the painful process of manually checking each recording that showed comskipped to see if it completed to find the one I ended prematurely. Now that I've figured out how to easily determine which files to delete so it'll start over no biggy. That said, if you CAN add it to your STV without much hassle it would be a cool feature. Maybe as a sub-menu item of Utils/Apps/Setup... BTW, thanks again for all you've already done! (And all you other Studio STV workers too)
