SageTV records live TV as you watch/play it back from the supported hardware encoder cards, listed in the SageTV Requirements page. Those live TV files are automatically the first files it will delete, usually fairly soon after the show is over, unless you set a property to tell SageTV NOT to delete them. There is an appendix in the manual that describes how/when shows are deleted. (The masnual is installed in your SageTV directory.)
