Question about menu navigation

I have the Streamzap remote, which has 4 programmable buttons. I programmed the Yellow button to:
C:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\SageTV\SageTV.exe -event 29

Event 29 is "Options"

I go to Recordings. I watch a non-live recording (and have not even gone into LiveTV). I'm done watching, so I Click (Yellow Button) Options > Detailed Info. Hit the Stop button on my remote. Click "Set Watched" since I'm done watching.

Select the Left Arrow, thinking this will take me back to Recordings, but instead it takes me to LiveTV, to the channel of the last recorded program.

No where in the process did I ever go to LiveTV. And I cannot figure out a way to get back to the Recordings menu directly (so I have to hit the Menu button on my remote to start from the root menu).

When you went from the playback Options menu -> Detailed Info, you went forward, so stepping back brought you back to the playback screen. Since you stopped the video you were watching, nothing was actively playing, so it started live TV.
