Is there anyway to have Sage record a show until another show is scheduled to start? What I mean is, some shows are now doing that 9:01-10:02 bull$hit. So if I have a recording starting at 10:00, it doesn't start. It should work if I tell it to end at -2 min, right? However, I'd rather have some sort of global setting (or a setting in the series settings) where I can just tell it to start the 10 recording automagically.
Yes, I know I could get a second tuner, but I'm probably not going to.

if both shows are on the same channel, you could set the property "remove_padding_on_back_to_back_favorites"
If they are on different channels, then your only option is to use a negative padding on the next show. The best solution, as you have hinted (and refused to use ) is to use multiple tuners. This is the main reason I have multiple tuners on my Sage box, so I don't have to do any of these timing manipulations. |
