open your sage.properties file and find this line
seeker/fast_mux_switch=true change it to false seeker/fast_mux_switch=false the 5 minute issue is seemingly GONE now that I have done this :-) Chris Taylor http://www.zodiacreview.com/ |

I couldn't figure out why my recordings were starting five minutes behind schedule (it was driving me nuts!) but now I do thanks to this posting. Thanks also to those who offered the solution. I checked the FAQ before I discovered this thread and didn't see anything about it.

Thank you for posting this! This is the exact problem I seemed to be having. Any back to back recordings would be clipped 5 minutes at the start with an empty mpg file.
Changing the setting for seeker/fast_mux_switch=false seems to have fixed the problem. |

When i change it to false, it always seems to change back to True once i open SageTv. What am i doing wrong? |
