Xcard and DVD menus

I have the xcard playing my DVDs and am impressed. One problem I have is accessing the menus. On the KVM connected to the computer or the Airpanel with an RDP session, all I get is a blank screen. Funny thing is, if I guess around with the mouse I am able to control the menu. As if the screen is there ready to accept commands, just not showing.

Anyone else run into this? Anyone have a suggestions or a work around?
