No unique EPG Data on CSPAN book events and public affairs events
Here's a copy of an email I sent to Zap2It. Does anyone else feel the same way? If so email them at feedback@zap2it.com and post here.
------------------- I use your TV guide data as part of SageTV which licenses your guide data. So I am a paying user of your EPG data. I am annoyed at the lack of program descriptions on most of C-SPAN and C-SPAN2's programming. I frequently am interested in the programs you give the generic and unhelpful descriptions of "book events" and "public affairs" programs. C-SPAN manages to put information up on their website about the individual shows that fall in these categories. Why can't Zap2It get that info from C-Span and include in its guide data? Is not properly annotating C-SPAN's shows simply a cost-saving measure done because Zap2It thinks nobody actaully watches those shows? Or it there in fact a good reason?
