Question about remote for SageTV Client
I finally have a laptop running the SageTV client. Eventually, I will push it to my TV in the bedroom using svideo but for now at least it runs on the laptop.
Most laptops have an IR port as does mine. Is there any way to use that with a remote control? If so what option do I choose?

No-that IR is for data transfer. It is not the same as the home IR remotes use. Even the Girder program will not use that with remotes.
