While recording 2 ATSC channel+1 NTSC=60% CPU utilization in sagetvservice???

Is it normal to have 60% CPU utiliization (in sagetvservice) while recording 2 ATSC shows + 1 NTSC show all at the same time? This is while the sagetv app is in the Windows system tray.

What kind of chipset do you have? If you go into task manager/Performance and select "Show Kernel Times" (under View) is a lot of that kernel usage?

I figured this one out. It had nothing to do with what I was recording. Apparently when you add a very general Favorites like "Catagory: Suspense".. there are waaaay too many conflicts and movies which confuse sagetvservice. As soon as I removed "Suspense" all is well. I actually asked andy to remove this thread to remove some of the clutter.

PS: HEY! I also got rid of my blue screen problem (knock on wood) I just did a clean install... dont know yet if .ts files produced work outside of sagetv...

This is still here. I don't like removing threads just because the issue was resolved, in case someone else runs into a similar issue & finds the resolution helpful.
