I'm not sure if this is a problem with SageMC or with the IMDB search. What I did was search for Aeon Flux, go to episodes and select the proper episode and it gives the error in the screen shot.

Yeay!

Thanks Nielm. Me, my wife, and our dog (woof) thank you.

Great job.

P.S. If others are having problems. I have SageTV 6.2. I installed the jar only and it did not work, so I unzip all files over the old and that did the trick.

I have tried both versions of the fix with mixed results. For the movie 10,000 BC when I search imdb the summary is there, I select save and choose description only and I get the spinning circle endlessly. I have to end the application through task manager. On all other movies that I have tried, the summary is visible but when I go to save the description only it seems to think it saved the description yet there is nothing there when the process is complete. The only movie that I have been able to get this to work properly is The Bee Movie. Some of the ones that are failing are Vantage Point, Witless Protection, There Will Be Blood.

For the movie Jumper, when I go to import the summary I get an error that states the SageTV service is not running and will restart momentarily.....very strange.

I am running SageTV version 6.3.10.166 and SageMC version 6.3.7.

Maybe that's part of your problem. It's for SageTV 6.4 which you can currently get from the Beta forum.

Meet the Spartans was giving the error, I'll try the fix tonight to check.

At work. wife waiting at home for me to fix it. She has a disorder when it comes to sorting, according to her last night it must be all sorted no title left behind LOL.

The STVI -- import is for 6.4.

The JAR file should be backward compatible with older versions of the import, and with SageMC.

ron329: the 'Save' function is a SageMC specific function... I cannot help much with that...

Thanks for the info... I guess I'll try to upgrade to 6.4 even though the fix should be compatible with the version I am currently running. When I have time to complete the upgrade and test it out, I'll post the results here...

Neilm, it's working great, except for the "Quotes" feature. Let's say a character's name is "Joe" and the quote will look like:

(13723459234) "Yo, come here"
(Frank) "Ok Joe"

(123423423) WTF?
(Bill) "These quotes are screwed up"!

Other than that working well.

Found another way to download it.

I am experiencing the same errors below using standard STV with the latest beta version of sage 6.4.4

Just adding a "me too" to this. 6.4.4 with 6.9 imdb import

Neil thanks for all your effort. I know how much you dont like updating this; but we're very thankful!

However, just to let you know version 6.9 "does" have a problem with Quotes. It has those weird 7 digit #'s preceding the quotes.
