Possible v4.0 bug?
Before I submit to SageTV as a possible bug, I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this v4.o problem.
Sometimes when I choose "Watch Now" from the new "Options" pop-up window, SageTV totally freezes. When this happens I am forced to CTRL-ALT-DEL in order to kill the Sagetv.exe process. Odd thing is that when I go to do this, I see THREE Sagetv.exe processes running which doesn't make sense! I think the duplicate executables are a byproduct of the problem I am experiencing at the time. Has anyone else experienced this with v4.0? Its happened to me 3 times this week. I upgraded my second box yesterday morning and haven't experienced this problem yet.

When was the last time you rebooted? After you reboot, start SageTV and click on watch now, do you still get three sageTV.exe processes running?

Yes rebooted plenty of times for other reasons so that isn't the cause. There should only be one instance of Sagetv.exe running. What I am saying is when SageTV 4.0 does freeze, I notice that there are multiple instances of sagetv.exe running in Task Manager. Possibly Sage is trying to recover from whatever caused the lockup and is reinitiating the Sagetv executable? Again, I've only experienced this 3 times but for the short time I have been using 4.0, I thought it was odd. I've had my fair sure of Sage problems like many but I've never had SageTV lockup on me before

Problem can be duplicated every 10 channel changes... complete lockup of Sage after choosing "Watch Now" Upgraded to lastes Nvidia Purevideo decoder.. still same problem. I will try othe encoders to see if the problem exists.....ugh.... (sniff sniff... smelling a possiblev roll back to 2.2.8)
UPDATE - Problem occurs with other encoders as well...and I thought it could be all my STVi imports causing the problem but I went back to the original sagetv3.stv and the problem exists there as well. I also upgraded my PVR-250 drivers to the latst and greatest... same problem... I'm off to submit bug report! NEWEST UPDATE: Definitely has to do with VMR/3D option being enabled and having the preview window active... something I always had enabled with every previous Sage version without incident... when I disable 3D Accleration the problem disappears.. when I Enable 3D accelaration/VMR but disable the preview window, the problem disappears too... there the problem lies... anyone else has this problem?
