Thanks for the quick response!
No good though. Reimporting makes no difference. It isn't working correctly.
Bring on the new version! :-)

But You always have to reimport mine if you reinstall his...

But if reimporting mine (I think my plugin allows reimporting...)
still doesn't work, then let me know and I try to fix the issue.. I'm close to releasing a new version anyway that will allow imdb imported info for imported videos...

Please let me know if re-importing mine doesn't work..

Thanks,

Jim

New Version at top! - Now with IMDB Video Import!

Ok. I believe that I am all set with Nielms new IMDB import. I also added the ability to import show information
to video files through IMDB. Thanks to the SageMC guys for letting me steal some of their code!

Now the image won't come up on the folder view until you restart sage or re-import the library.

Now with my ISO DVD mounting import, I'm all set to mount & play my ISO collection!

Let me know if there are any issues. I did limited testing. Sorry..

I don't know if this will reimport over an old version..
So I also would start with a fresh STV like Nielm suggusted for his import. (but after you import his!)

Here are some screen shots of the import process

Before:

During IMDB search

After

And after the next time you restart Sage

And if you have to edit the title

Hello, I've been using this import for awhile now. I just recently updated to the version 6 beta and it doesn't seem to be working correctly. The text is out of line. Just thought I would let you know.

Thanks for the hard work!

I'm sure it needs some work to bring it in line with V6. I haven't bought the upgrade yet.. I probably will... I just don't know when.. If I do get the upgrade.. I will update this plugin...

Sounds good. It might be a good idea to wait till it's out of beta though. I'm pretty happy with the upgrades in ver 6. Good stuff.

Take care.

HI Jim, I kinda painted myself into a corner here. The oldest STV I can find that I can use already has both your "Jump Directly to Detailed Info" stvi and the IMDB search stvi imported.

I was sucessfully able to import the latest IMDB plugin; and, import the latest of your plugin just now.

Everything works correctly in both the IMDB search and your plugin... except for when I try to access "IMDB Person" from your detailed info menu, I get the following error:

IMDB Person: IMDB read failed:
null

I realize I wouldnt have this problem if I were to load both plugin on top of a stock STV; unfortunately, I dont have that option and REALLY hope you wouldnt mind telling me how to manually fix the broken link in studio.

Thank you for any help you can provide me with.
-Michael

The easiest thing would probably be for me to fix your stv. If you're willing... zip up the xml file and post it or PM and I'll get you my e-mail address...

or I can get you a stock v5 xml file if you already upgraded.. Is that the issue?

You probably already know this because you mentioned that this plugin needed work for v6.... But I decided to try to import it using 6.0.15.

The main detailed info screen displays the show title and the watched, archive, etc icons overlaying the options texts on the left. These items don't appear in the top center like they are supposed to.

Looking forward to seeing a plugin update!

Maybe I'll take a look at it this week.. Don't count on it though.. sorry...

Just upgraded to v6. Really like the responsiveness w/ MVP. But I have to say, I really miss this import. It made for a much better viewing experience. Just to let you know the work is still appreciated and I hope you can try to get in an update.

Thanks

Is there anyway to get the detailed info import working in V6 as yet? Hadn't realised just how daft the default STV is without it until I upgraded!

Just wondering if by any chance you have updated this and have yet to upload it for us. Version six would be so much better with the addition of this import!

Thanks

Sorry,

I have not yet had the need to upgrade to V6. Especially with all the studdering issues that have been mentioned.

I do intend, in my spare time (which I have none), to put V6 on my development machine and see if I can get this up to date.. I just don't know when.. I've got soooo many things to do.. and tax time is approaching..etc...

Is anyone still interested in this? I've finally switched over to V6 and have a beta version. I'm going to tweak it for myself.. but if others are interested I'll share.. I tried using the default way.. and I just don't like it...
