Can't get Fusion 5 Lite working in Sagetv 5

I have a system setup with Windows XP pro, Sagetv 5, PCI Fusion 5 HD tnuer, Fusion USB hd tuner and a Nvidia Dual tuner analog.

The dual analog, and Fusion USB are working fine. But the PCI Fusion 5 HD tuner will not get a signal under Sage 5. It works fine on the same system using the Fusion software and also works fine in another system running MCE.

I have installed the lastest drivers from Fusion...still nothing.

I have setup the USB and PCI fusion are setup the same way under sage 5 and they are using OTA.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

So do you have a WDM Capture #1 and #2 in Sage, for the Fusion's?

I seem to remember that you could choose two #1's or two #2's...but that's probably not it.

The PCI is labeled "FusionHDTV, WDM Video Capture Digital TV tuner"
The USB is "Bluebird, AVstream video capture digital TV tuner"

I remember on the older version of sage it did that if I'm right, but not in version 5.

It is using the same IRQ as my raid card. Now I have to try and change that.

WARNING: This may be a silly question!

Have you restarted the Sage services or rebooted? IIRC http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...5&postcount=13

I had to reboot a couple of times throughout the setup process.

To change IRQ, move slots.

I have rebooted many times and I removed all other card so the Fusion 5 was the only card in there and was not sharing IRQ. Still noting under sage, works fine under the fusion software. Sage sees it, but I get no signal when setting up the channels.

What happens when you try and view LiveTV in Sage, with the PCI card (HD channel, of course)? You may need to either remove the USB tuner from Sage, or make sure it is recording something, then watch LiveTV (an HD channel), with the PCI card.

Do you get any kind of error, or is it just paused, with a black screen? If it shows that it is playing, what happens if you pause it for several seconds, and then play it again?

Do you have Windows XP Pro or Windows XP MCE?

Have you disabled the FusionHDTV software before getting into Sage (check the task tray icons)?

Fusion 5 Pain

I've also been having difficulties with using the PCI version of the Fusion 5 RT lite with sage. After many hoops, I can usually get it working with the Fusion SW but the leap to Sage has been tricky. When I have been able to (temporarily) get it working in Sage, I've found that I need to call it a "TV tuner" rather than the "Digital Tuner." I've been trying to get mine to work OTA HD channels and at times (again temporarily), I have gotten it working. Once I call it a TV tuner and then go to channel scan, it will find all the digital channels.

I need to search around a little more to figure out how best to get a stable situation with the DViCO drivers. That's what seems to bring my setup down.
