DVICO Fusion5 & QAM

As many people including myself are trying to adapt QAM tuning in SageTV, I am hoping that someone can help me optimize my approach.

Since this feature is not yet available in Sage, I am using the DVICO software to schedule and record QAM content in the background while Sage is running. This is a little clumky, but I see no other way of doing it.

There are 2 issues that I have with my setup.

1.) When the DVICO software starts to record the app will load and run over Sage until it is done or I alt-tab and select Sage to be on top. Is there any way to keep it from doing this?

2.) Sometimes my HD QAM records will have the sound cut out about 20 minutes into the recording. I wonder if this is a DVICO problem or if by running Sage and DVICO at the same time is causing this problem, however this seems to be random.

I would appreciate any help on this.

Thanks.

Update: I have tried to run in exclusive full screen mode, but my video card does not like this too much and had to revert back.

Does anyone have any idea why the sound on my HD recordings would cut out?
