ok..i get as far as running mtsa.exe and I go back into Movie Times on the menu and I only see configure and back buttons. So I check the log file and it grabbed 7 days of data for the two theaters I indicated, but at the end of the log file it says..

Error: Please select one or more active theaters before attempting to import movie data.

But it already donwnloaded the data..? What would be my next step?

Ok I seem to be figuring it out on my own. There were some random locations in the location file that were missing theaters. I removed the superfluous locations and then ran it again and it seems to be working now. It's in the middle of putting trailers in the trailers folder. Thanks for the plugin..

HD extender... play trailers???

OK... had my HD extender just long enough to start playing with things... I tried unsucessfully (and not very hard mind you) to set this up. First problem was that it didn't like my config file... then I could not figure out how to setup trailer playback since it wants to set up an external program.

========================
OK... before I even submitted the above, I went back to try again... what a bonehead... of course it was 2AM when I looked at it last. Anyway, thought I'd post my findings to help some other late night setup (it will probably be myself in a few months...)

The config file problem was that somehow my Movietimes folder had lost it's shared status... easy enough after I started reading through the config file.

As far as the trailer playback... well, I would chalk this up to lack of sleep and a less than intuitive layout to the config screen.... If you look past the "program used to playback trailers" and "command parameters" options (which in my defense are above the important "Enable Internal Sage Player" option.)

Anyway... Plugin now working on HD extender... sweet.

Carry on now... I am going to bed.

This may be a strange question and be darn near impossible, but I was wondering if there's any way to get this to download all trailers/teasers? My family and I enjoy sitting down and seeing what movies are in the works far ahead of them getting into the theaters. I'll generally go to Apple or to TheMovieBox.net and browse all the movies, download like 15-20 trailers/teasers, wait for them all to finish, then we'll sit down and watch them one right after the other. This is how we've found out about somewhat obscure movies and decided to go see them.

I realize that MovieTimes uses each theater's schedule to figure out what trailers to download, so this could very well be impossible to do, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask the question.

I too would like to see this feature. I also like going to the apple trailers and viewing them in HD. This would be a good feature.

Something like that can be done but it would not be too practical trying to reuse the MovieTimes import that relies on Keymaster's MTSA program and aperry's jar library.

Exclamation MovieTimes Update - 0.64a

This is a minor update to correct a couple of theme links that were no longer linking to correct location in SageMC 6.3.7+. This also caused a problem when importing MovieTimes before the Closed Captions import. Thanks for pointing out the failed links JREkiwi.

For those that have MovieTimes already installed, you can download the xml import file by itself here.
  • 0.64a Update import file to be compatible with SageMC 6.3.7+ theme updates.
  • 0.64a Remove df_sageutils.jar file to prevent conflict with version now included with SageMC STV files.

main menu

Thanks for MovieTimes, I have it working nicely. I do have two problems though.

1- When I restart Sagemc I lose my MovieTimes in the main menu.
2- I cant get it to show up on my MVP.

I must me doing something wrong when adding it to the main menu.
I am running Sagemc version 6.0.13.1
From the main menu I right click and chose (main menu options)Then I chose (New internal screen) I scroll down to MovieTimes Main and enter a name for the new screen. Then I chose File (Save menu file) and it exits out and says (Menu file written successfully).
I hope this is the proper way. The instructions are different. Any help would be nice.
Thanks

Actually I went to try this but it looks like I am running into a problem even before that change. I do have some new trailers downloaded within the last week, but according to the log it is always hanging when downloading the first trailer. I'm not sure if it is the particular movie or if there is a problem with the mtsa program getting any trailer now. Why don't you post the last part of your log.txt file. This is what I get:

Hmmm, now that I think about it, I'll bet the MTSA program is having trouble with the ":" in the name. I'll have to check with the keymaster about that...

Hey guys - I'll check it out and see what's going on. Apple probably just changed their site in some way.

I was waiting for something to break... it's been a while since the last update I'm surprised that this much time has passed. Time flies!

Mine is sticking on the first one as well - "Forbidden Kingdom, The". The last few days I've needed to kill mtsa.exe cause it's hung there.

mine too

MTSA is freezing when downloading Baby Mama.
Looks like it has an unusual download page.
A timeout in MTSA for this type of unexpected cases would be a good idea.

Morgan, any chance you could add a small option to not display movies that do not have posters? Those movies are not the typical movies we go and see and show up only because of special events.

ZIP Code 05401

Does this work with those locales where the Zip Code begins with 0?

I have setup the plugin but the theatres that I am presented with are incorrect.

I know that a program I have@ work had to have the code modified to allow this.

Did/does anyone else report this issue?
