V6 Problems with pic thumbnails and FLAC files

So far I experienced the following two major problems:

Picture Library

I have around 4000 pictures in my import folder, and started to generate thumbnails for them. It started off noticeable slower than with v5, and it continued to decrease over time. At around 1000 pics it was down to 1 pic every 10 secs, and after 1300 pics it basically stopped generating any further. After canceling out I got the spinning Sage icon most of the time, and the UI was unusable until I restarted it. When I now retry the thumbnail generation, it quickly scans over the already generated 1300 pics, but will not generate any new ones (but I'm not getting the UI lockup any more)

FLAC file import

I was so excited finally being ablse to import my FLAC music files, but unfortunately without much success. Sage imported only 4 albums out of more than 100 correctly, the other ones are missing. Instead it recognized all songs of those missing albums as albums themselves, which of course show up empty. I dont think that the file tags are incorrect, since I ripped all CDs with EAC the same way. And looking at the log file it seems that Sage correctly recognizes the tags:

Code:

Of course I will file an official bug report, just wondering if anyone else ran into the same problems ...

(And yes, all this was done with the default STV ... )

An example from the sage log:
