Why only 2 weeks

SageTV only looks out two weeks. Why only 2 weeks when the printed guide from your local cable company can give you a full month of listings? Surely there is a way to pull this information?

Many times when a new show is advertised by a channel, you can do a search and it doesn't turn up. This is because it is usually talking about a show comming on in 3 weeks or more. If the networks know thier line-ups, so should SageTV.

Can someone shed some light on this for me?

I think it is due to zap2it, Sage's EPG supplier, only offering 14 days. IF you could find someone offering more than 2 weeks, you could probably set up a xml grabber to get that info instead of using the supplied data.

Hmmm, that's a great idea! Anyone have any suggestions?
