Once again thanks

1 more question. I do not cut commercials so I chose not to cut commercials but wait for EDL. I do want comskip to run first thats why I chose wait for EDL. Will this work?
Yeah, just disable cutting commercials but leave wait for edl enabled and it should work fine.

1/29/07 v2.0h -
  • Bugfix: I'm a idiot, but since fixing that is out of my power I've updated the STVi... again.
Sourceforge is being a little moody tonight so i'll try and get just the xml file attached tomorrow. In the meantime, here's a copy of it for people who just want a quick upgrade.

Hi EP,

I appreciate all the help you have given me while you polish your stvi. I uploaded my dirmon2.ini file in post 220.

I hope that will give you an idea. I am looking forward to making this thing smoke!

Thanks!

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you meant that the Series Settings wasn't letting you switch away from 2-Pass Xvid but this is something much different. I'll take a look at it tonight.

EP,

Well I spoke too soon again. all the QDVD files internally default to 2-Pass Xvid. Regardless of what sage says in the Series Settings.

Did you try a restart of everything after updating to the latest version? 2.0g fixed that problem for me. The auto compress thread may still be running using the old code.

I will try that ... it is infact the Auto Compress if I use the send to it works with my profiles, I will get back to everyone as soon as I give it a go..

Thanks all

That did not work the QDVD files are still all being Created with 2-Pass Xvid internally. No matter which profile I select I even tried another default profile and still no good. BTW using the 2.oh release.

In order to recreate this.

make sure Dirmon is stopped.
Stop Sage
delete the Autocompress files in your sage Directory
delete all QDVD files

It will create QDVD files for any Uncompressed favorites and you will see the created QDVD files all have that 2 pass default.

Hi nyplayer,

It's a regression of the bug (GetServerProperty) that was fixed in 2.0g. Looks like your blank screen problem has been worked on since then, but 2.0g works for autocompress.

Thanks John,

That fixed it now I can catch up on my archiving. Guess 2.0h has a bug.

2.0g has a broken Sendto function that was fixed in 2.0h. Today the Auto Compress is more important to me than the Sendto. Of course that all changes tomorrow.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I suspected... that's what I get for trying to maintain 3 different branches of my code at the same time

I'll try and put together a greatest hits collection of my best bug fixes from the last few days in one easy to own release

EP,

I have a Question in the original version you were able to create DVD's from avi's etc. Is this no longer possible?

Apparently not, looks like my "Send To..." code is wrapped in an if statement that only allows .mpg's though. I'll talk to Dirk about that.

Hi guys,

I attached a modified version of SageMC 6.3.2 that should fix the problem.
