Dirk,

I loaded Your XML restarted Sage. Imported penguins DVD tools import... restarted Sage and still have the same problem. Unless I am supposed to wait for something new from EP.

Oh shoot, yeah I should have sent this to EP first, he'll probably have to make a change to his STVi to link to a different location in the code...

Hey EvilPenguin,

Sourceforge doesn't seem to have any sagemc video tools downloaded to it. Are you able to download the video tools from source forge?

Wow, yeah, looks like sourceforge didn't take my last build. I've been having a ton of trouble with their release system this whole week. I'll try again tonight.

Evilpenquin,

Is there a way to pass any of the advanced preferences in the command string? I have some recordings I want to "wait for edl" on and others I don't.

Or is there a way of having multiple advanced.pref files and selecting them from the command line?

John

Latest version no send To?

Hey Guys,

Maybe someone can help me with while EP is away.....downloaded the latest 2.0.1.a installed it over sagemc 6.3.2. I can see that sagemc took the stvi because I now have 2 new menu items under options->extras. However, when I go into a tv show and hit "send to" none of the new options are popping up. Any idea why this would be?

Thanks!

First you should load the SageMC 6.3.2a STV that EP referers to.... Install his tools and load his new STVI.

I just loaded the new 6.3.2a STV and reloaded EP's STVi that I downloaded today, but still not "Send To" option for DVDs. Should I run through the complete installation process for the Video Tools?

I'm just not getting it ... The video tools do not appear on the SAGEMC extras menu, nor do they appear in the Send To menu.

I am running the release version of Sage. I did a reinstall to clean out the old version of EP's Video tools. I have been VERY careful to stop all services each time. Here are my steps... can someone point out what I've missed?

1) Unzipped SageMC 6.3.2a to SageTV directory. I notice this xml ends up in the SAGETV directory not the STV directory? Started Sage. Use "import STVI" menu item to add the XML to Sage-169. Now I have SageMC169-1.

2) Unzipped Videotools 2_01_a into SageTV directory. Ran perl2DVDsetup. Started Sage. Import videotools using "import STVI" menu item. Now I have sageMC169-2.

3) Add "other programs" menu item. I notice that I have *2* of these to choose from now?

Nothing is showing on my SageMC extras or in Send To. (sigh) any help out there?
Thanks!

SageMC 6.3.2a is not an STVi but a whole STV. You are basically trying to import SageMC into SageMC which I would imagine would be bad

Just load up 6.3.2a as a regular STV then import my plug-in as an STVi and you should be fine.

This is going to sound so idiotic... but exactly what does that mean?

If I use "Load Sage TV Application Package" on the -DetailedSetup/Advanced-menu .. Sage loses its mind. The screen does not refresh .. the menu items are over written on each other. It's a mess. If I stop and restart Sage ... I get menus on a black screen. So that's obviously wrong... or is it?

Just did. Still a no show. And... should I see something in the Other Programs menu?
