Has "keep at most" been updated?

With version 5, we have options to keep 1 - 15 episodes or all. With version 6, are there more options? I'd like to be able to keep 20 episodes of some shows (24 of the tv show 24), and maybe 50 or so of some others.

I'll try version 6 soon, but just wondering.

thanks!

I don't think there has been any change with this. I agree though that 15 seems a bit arbitrary and I wouldn't think it would be hard to increase that value.

2^4 - 1 = 15

It's not arbitrary.

So would 2^8-1=255 be not arbitrary enough, also?

Since this thread is already here I thought I'd take the opportunity to ask a silly question. What exactly is "Keep At Most" supposed to do?

If I set the value to 1 I would expect it to keep exactly 1 episode, but it keeps them all until space is needed. For example, if I set a favorite to record the local news and set Keep At Most to 1, after a week I end up with 5 recordings. BY setting Keep AT Most to 1 I would expect Sage to delete yesterday's news before recording today's. This makes no sense to me.

I'd actually like to see a selection for "Keeping":

- Keep All
- Keep At Most x (and really have Sage delete shows if x is exceeded)
- Keep at Least x (This way I will always have x episodes of SpongeBob for my kids)

If you tell Sage "Keep at Most" 1. It should only keep 1. In fact it does if everything is working right. Somehow during the conversion to 6.0 beta my wiz.bin got corrupted and the keep at most setting wasnt being enforced so I had to revert back to a wiz.bin from 5.04(or w/e it is) to get this all working again. But as of right now everything seems fine.

As Miller stated, Keep at most 1 should keep only one episode.

If you have set to autodelete, it will delete the one show and record the new show. Actually, I have seen it record the new show, and then, once finished, delete the old show.

If you have set to manual delete, I believe it will record the first show, and then not record any newer shows.

I've noticed this behavior as well... i've chalked it up to some weird IR thing. If you have keep at most set to 1 and delete set to manual, it would not record it again as a favorite, but as an Intelligent Recording. At least that's why I thought it was doing it.

BTW, a second here on keep AT LEAST (even if marked watched)... been requested several times over the past couple years.

2^8-1=255 would be sweet! The kids need more than 15 Spongebob's to choose from, but when 169 stack up, it's a bit much... I'd like to set a 60 limit, should Sage allow it.
