Playing .ts files on MVP

I'm thinking about taking the HD plunge so I downloaded a .tp file from the Dvico site to see how my system would handle playing it. I renamed the .tp file to .ts and it played perfectly in VLC, WMP and a SageClient. (My server is headless so I did not try playing it there!) When I tried playing it on an MVP the video was way out of sync with the audio.

There is no studder at all so I do not think my server has trouble with the "real time" transcoding. I tried both MVP transcode qualities and got the same result. I also tried transcoding the file to .MPG (DVD quality w/AC3 audio) and got the same results when playing the resulting .MPG on the MVP. Oddly enough, when I play the .MPG on a SageClient or VLC it has the audio/video sync issue.

The clip is 720p 60 fps with AC3 audio. I think the Sage transcoder thinks the clip is 30 fps since the audio plays at the correct rate but the video plays at what seems to be half speed.

I downloaded the first clip on this page: http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/Eng/Download/Demo.aspx

Has anybody else seen this or is it user error? Is there a way to set a transcode quality that assumes a 60 fps stream? And lastly, is 60 fps normal for 720p? (I'm just coming up to speed on HD.)
