I could use one now pretty effectively. My wife just got put on bedrest (we're expecting twins!), and there is a nice new HD set in the bedroom, but little HD content and no access to the PVR...

Thanks,
Mike

Oh come on. Anybody who has even been involved with software and hardware development knows "Q2" = June 31. (And anything up to 72 hours after midnight is June 32, and that still qualifies as June 31. )

Am I the only one who got a notice on checkout that said the extenders were on indefinite backorder due to a shortage of one of the components?
Something about a blue laser....

You guys shouldn't joke about this - all these posts are indexed by google, and bad info will get recorded and mislead folks doing searches...

Hmmm.... then I probably shouldn't say this was an invitation-only sale & no one should be mentioning this publicly, lest others find out & feel left out. Maybe those who mentioned it won't get the invitation next time...

Now no one will really know if got an invite or not, since that would be the proper way to respond if you got the invite & are just keeping it secret.

You mean this wasn't a cruel April 1 tease? I can't wait for "June 31" -- it seems like that will never come...

I didn't think it was cruel. What was cruel was the flush-faced embarassment I felt when I finally figured out the truth of this one.
